When we started to dance Salsa, we got to know different styles of Salsa. We have rapidly found out that Salsa Cubana was the right style for us as this music and dancing style combines and expresses for us life, fun, love and energy. This Salsa Cubana virus has practically infected us and we would like to popularize it in our way.And after all, why Salsa Cubana? Because Salsa Cubana seems very playful, rhytmical and very lively. Salsa Cubana is also called Casino genannt and distinguishes itself by fast speed and direction changes. Casino is very free. Salsa Cubana is determined by rotations round about the center of the dancing couple and the woman is only rarely released. Salsa Cubana is orientated circularly. Naturally there a several different, partly difficult and confusing figures, but the key for every individual figure is based on the base-step combinations which are given to the dance students by us.Circular is a adding headword. Circular as e.g.: a wheel. Wheel means Rueda in spanish. Another form of Salsa Cubana is the so called „Rueda de Casino“ which is teached by us. Dancing Rueda de Casino means that several dancing couples configures a circle in which the dancing partners are exchanged. The changes and the figures are announced by a so called Cantante (singer). The Cantante can either be a woman or a man. Often also the Cantante is exchanged while a Rueda dancing perfomance as this brings much more fun into it as an exchange leads to a style, speed – and direction change. Why learning to dance Salsa with us? First of all we are interested in having fun while dancing. Bailar con alegría is not only our slogan but we also try to transfer fun. That does not mean that we don’t possess the necessary expertise or the seriousness to teach dancing. It is important for us that a feeling of joy and love to the cuban music and a group membership is created in order to integrate this impressions into the dancing class As already mentioned about we give you the key, solid base-step combinations for Salsa Cubana and we let them in all the time in our dancing classes. Figures get individual names in order to increase the value of recognition. This method facilitate our dance students to learn the figures rapidly and also to keep them so that we can already start dancing Rueda de Casino in our 2nd Beginner courses. Why do our dance students learn so fast… There are a lot of dancing schools with only one dancing teacher. Some of them have a good knowledge of the steps, movement and signals to be given to the according gender, but the way of explaining is not always provided. We offer the possibility and we are able to answer individually special questions of our dance students. Furthermore four eyes do see more than two!!!
